As stated on our home page, the mission and vision of PABC is to be a family of faith, intentionally discipling the next generation.

In Matthew 28:16-20 we are commanded to go and tell the world about the Good News of Jesus and make disciples of all nations.  This word “disciple” means follower – someone who does what their leader does.  This is what we want to be and want to teach others to be.  To see what we are involved in to disciple others, check out the above CONNECT, GROW, SERVE and RESOURCE pages.

Additionally, in Matthew 22:37-38 we read that Jesus wants us to love Him with all of our beings, and love our neighbour as ourselves.  Jesus says that these two things are the two most important commandments.

We are a part of the greater family the AGC, and adhere to the belief statement of the AGC – which can be found here!

Pastor Larry, Senior Pastor

I graduated from college in spring of 1979 and that fall my wife Gloria and I embarked in what has turned out to be a life-long “career” of full time ministry. Yes there have been challenges along the way but when I look at the lives that I’ve had a small part in influencing to find a personal relationship with God, and then see them grow as Christians, makes those challenges seem rather insignificant!

The verse God gave me as my call to the ministry, Colossians 1:28, continues to be what guides me in the things that I consider important as a pastor and will continue to faithfully serve His church as long as God gives me breath.

Pastor Phil, Pastor of Youth and Family Ministry

Phil was called to the ministry in 2003, in Swift Current, and has since been serving in three different churches in the AGC.  He has a passion for youth and families and loves to see discipleship happening in all areas, but especially those two!

Phil is married to Jessica and the two of them have 3 children, Maggie, Evelyn and Henry.  All five of them love living in Melfort and look forward to many more years of living and ministering here to the people of PABC and Melfort!
